Kickoff your holiday season at the annual Austin Area Jazz Festival from November 26-27, 2021, at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex (MYEC) and the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC).

Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex (MYEC)

Friday November 26th

Doors open 7:00 pm

In 2019 we hosted the Intimate Evening of Jazz at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex with Kirk Whalum, Tom Browne and Mike Hamilton. In 2021 the Austin Area Jazz Festival will be returning to the MYEC. More information on 2021 AAJF line up coming soon.

MYEC FREE PARKING

The Millennium is a 55,000 square foot event space conveniently located in Central Austin, just 6 miles from Downtown. This venue has multi-use facility spaces with 218 parking spaces in the gated lot.

Emma S. Barrentos Mexican American Culture Center (MACC)

Saturday November 27th

Gates open 12:00 pm

The MACC, as it’s so affectionately called, is a modern architectural marvel! Resting in the center of downtown, AAJF attendees will be able to soak in the beauty of the Austin skyline as the music of their favorite artists fill the air! The unique lines and angles of the building almost make it feel like the designer used their improv skills on an original blueprint to create something new. Improv is incredibly important to jazz, so having the Austin Area Jazz Festival here is a perfect match!

There are many parking locations within walking distance of the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center. Take a look at the information below to see the names of parking locations, their addresses, and their distance from our venue.

  • VIP parking at the venue for those who have purchased VIP Tickets.
  • There will be limited on-site parking for all patrons for $20 per car.
  • Disabled individuals may be dropped off in front of the venue entrance.
  • All patrons can be dropped off in the round-about, which is in front of the venue
